7 October 2019Subsidies for Medical Cannabis, Tourism, Logistics investments by the Investment Incentive Law

More than 400 million € of investments were awarded to VK PREMIUM’s clients in areas such as modernisation, renovation, expansion of existing facilities and/or establishment of new hotels, Medical Cannabis subsidies, development of logistic centers, industrial plants.
The Investment Incentives Law offers financial support by means of subsidies, grants, tax allowances aiming at the deployment of new investments in Greece in sectors such as tourism, medical cannabis, manufacturing, agriculture, ICT, etc., injecting this way valuable funds into the Greek economy.
For 2022 the maximum aid intensity will reach up to 75% of the eligible budget, 25% higher than the current aid intensity*.
*The maximum aid intensity depends on the geographical area where the investment will be applied.
VK PREMIUM’s role is to provide full scale services to such businesses in terms of guiding, consulting, preparing, submitting and administering throughout the process until the injection of the funds. Specifically, VK PREMIUM’s mandate is to:
- Evaluate a candidate’s admissibility in the various funding schemes so as to ensure high success rate (an in-house scoring method is also applied);
- Prepare all required technical and economic documentation (technical studies, business plans etc.,) tailored to the specific demands of the Investment Incentive program ensuring full alignment with the provisions of IIL, as well as the submission of the complete file to the competent authorities;
- Administer the application throughout the process until the final approval as well as the injection of the funds to the client;
- Manage the client’s investment project (allocation of funds, follow up of project’s timeline and key deliverables, establishing KPIs, problem solving etc.) up until completion.
